This attractive mature fishery is located on the edge of Standlake village. The 16-acre site borders farmland. It offers fishing using traditional fly methods and is stocked predominately with rainbow trout. There is ample secure off-road parking on-site and a lodge but at present no toilet facilities.
The Thames here is famous for its Bream shoals and big Chub. You’ll also find some lovely Roach, Perch, Pike, and a few Barbel. In the past, Carp and Tench have also come from here.
The Evenlode and Evenlode Canal both hold Chub, Roach, and Perch.
